Origin Story
Nestled in the picturesque Biligiri Rangana Hills, Honametti Estate is a sprawling plantation that produces coffee alongside pepper and oranges. The estate is committed to fair labor practices, ensuring equal wages for men and women, while also providing free housing, sanitation, clean water, and medical care for its employees. Additionally, it supports education through a scholarship program for employees’ children.
Located in an ecologically significant region, the estate prioritises environmental conservation and biodiversity. Bordering a Tiger Reserve Forest, it takes great care to preserve the area’s flora and fauna. Coffee is cultivated under the shade of diverse tree species such as Ficus, Albizzia, and Jackfruit, creating a thriving habitat for a wide variety of birds, insects, and animals.
