Origin Story

Nestled within the verdant heartlands of Três Pontas in southern Minas Gerais, Terra Nova Farm blooms, a testament to dedication and innovation. Led by agronomist Danilo Mesquita Andrade and his devoted son, Frederico, this lush haven stands as a monument to the harmonious blend of tradition and technology. Here, the earth's gifts are cherished and cultivated, yielding extraordinary results.

The farm's approach to coffee cultivation is a delicate balance of meticulous planning and sustainable practices. An unyielding commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability guides every decision, setting the stage for the creation of some truly extraordinary coffees.

GPS technology is harnessed to map out and carve planting furrows, amplifying the efficiency of planting and crop management.

Harvest time is a harmonious interplay of man and machine. Once the coffee cherries are picked, they embark on a mechanized journey of transformation.

The coffee undergoes meticulous inspection by an optical sorter, utilizing multi-color CCD scanning to distinguish ripe cherry beans from green ones.

Post-harvest processing is a marvel of modern engineering. Cutting-edge static and rotating dryers buzz with vitality, swiftly and efficiently processing the harvested beans, safeguarding their inherent quality and capturing the essence of Terra Nova Farm in every bean.

Roastery & Brewing Notes

An intricate ballet of flavor, effortlessly weaving the indulgent sweetness of treacle tart and caramelized brown sugar with vibrant citrus notes of orange and pink grapefruit. A light hint of apple delicately teases the palate, culminating in a bright and balanced aftertaste.

The distinctive black honey process shines through here, as the syrupy sweetness of molasses gracefully yields to the tart, zesty tang of pink grapefruit.
